3. How do I distribute my resume?

On the Distribute Resume Page, click on the job board that you want to submit your resume to. Some job boards will want you to create a free account with them then you can copy and paste your resume to the job board. Other job boards will allow you to post your resume without creating an account.

4. How long does it take to get posted to all the career sites?

On job boards that you need to create an account it will take approximately five minutes to submit a resume. The other job boards that do not require an account take around a minute to submit to. Submitting to all job boards we have listed will take approximately twenty minutes. Twenty minutes is a relatively short amount of time considering you are increasing your chances of getting an interview by submitting to thousands of additional employers.

5. Can I keep my employer from knowing I'm job searching?

Yes, by using the confidential feature in the profile section.

Confidential listings do not provide personal contact information to third parties with respect to the selected fields within the account settings. Making your contact information Confidential is your decision and the only access to your actual contact information within the CareerRush Database will be limited to CareerRush.com’s administrative staff.

NOTE: Confidential contact settings will most likely reduce the liklihood of your success in finding employment.

6. What if I don't have a resume and cover letter?

You can create a resume for free using CareerRush's Free Resume Builder. Use our cover letter page to design your cover letter.

7. How is my personal information safeguarded?

Our staff is familiar with our security policy and practices. The Personally Identifiable Information of our Visitors and Authorized Account Holders is only accessible to a limited number of qualified employees who are given a password in order to gain access to the information. We audit our security systems and processes on a regular basis. Sensitive information, such as credit card numbers or social security numbers, is protected by encryption protocols, in place to protect information sent over the Internet.

Simply login to your jobseeker account, click on resume builder, then edit the section you want to.

Yes, every job board you submit to, you will then receive an email from each job board.

11. Who will see my information?

If you leave your settings to Display, then your information will be available to potential employers and recruiters. If you change your settings to confidential, then nobody will be able to see your personal information.

12. How will a prospective employer contact me?

A prospective employer or recruiter may contact you by phone, email, letter, or the job board itself.
